Strauss Malkyrion (ストラス・マルキリオン, Sutorasu Marukirion?) was the Second Division Commander of the Holy Church's Templar Knights during the age of the Liberators.
Appearance[]
Strauss was an adult male.
Personality[]
Like the rest of those from the Holy Church, Strauss was extremely devoted to its god Ehit. He also had intense respect for the first division commander of the Templar Knights, Lilith Arkind, so much in fact, he basically worshiped her like she is a goddess.
Chronology[]
Strauss was among the Holy Church's leaders that took part in an important meeting to discuss their recent defeat at Andika by their newly discovered enemies, the Liberators. When Laus Barn was being criticized by serval of the other church's leaders as having bee the one who lead their forces that were defeated, Commander Lilith Arkind spoke up in Laus' defense and apologized to him for their behavior, to which Laus expressed his indifference. Strauss then spoke up to Laus and criticized him for not giving Lilith the respect he felt she deserved, as well as having assigned her the role of replacing the knights that were killed a Andika. Lilith then told Strauss that she felt honored doing the work Laus gave her. Soon afterwards, Pope Lucifer Slaine Elbard arrived and presented with him a woman named Ainz Arsalk that he claimed was their god Ehit's chosen oracle. Ainz then proceeded to tell the leadership of the church about the members of the Liberators that were in possession of Ancient Magic, as well as revealing the location of one of the last remaining within the beastman nation, the Haltina Republic that was located in Pale Forest. Lucifer then ordered the church to wage war on the republic in order to capture the person with Ancient Magic and bring them to their cathedral.
After the Holy Church was defeated by both the Haltina Republic ad the Liberators, followed by Laus' sudden betrayal, Strauss and the other templar knights were transformed in apostle hybrids in order to prepare themselves for the Liberators' eventual attack on the church.
