Shuuzou Yaegashi (
Appearance[]
Shuuzou is an elderly man with white hair and many wrinkles.
Shuuzou's attire consists of a typical dojo training outfit which includes a kendo jacket and hakama leggings.
Personality[]
Shuuzou is serious and soft-spoken. He rarely displays his emotions.
His many years of training has greatly tuned his instincts and can immediately sense when something is wrong.
Shuuzou is very interested in learning about new combat techniques and weapons.
In keeping up with the traditions of his family's kenjutsu training style, Shuuzou wants to keep a low profile in public and does not wish to stand out. The secretive combat techniques has caused many to accuse him of actually being a ninja, although he categorically denies it.
Background[]
Shuuzou had been an instructor at his family's dojo for many years and trained many disciples. At some point, Shuuzou and his now daughter-in-law Kirino helped another disciple named Miya out of a tough situation when she was a delinquent in high school.
Shuuzou began training his granddaughter Shizuku at the age of four after accidentally discovering that she had an aptitude for swordsmanship.
When Shizuku was in elementary school, her classmate Kaori Shirasaki confronted Shuuzou for not allowing her to grow out her hair in order for it not to get in the way of her training. This immediately caused Shuuzou to burst out in laughter, much to shock of his family and disciples, and was impressed with Kaori's boldness to the point that he made her an honorary member of his family's dojo.

Shizuku Yaegashi[]
Shizuku loves her grandfather and trains under him in order tome him happy after seeing him smile during the first time she used a wooden sword. Shuuzou feels guilty for not allowing Shizuku to express her true nature during her childhood.
Hajime Nagumo[]
Shuuzou is grateful to Hajime for looking after Shizuku, but will occasionally join the rest of his family in expressing their animosity at him for marrying her through the use of sneak attacks.
When Shuuzou accompanies Hajime and his family to Tortus during their winter holiday, he never once condemned Hajime for the morally objectionable things he had done in his journey to find a way back to Earth while also expressing sincere gratitude for every time he had saved Shizuku, Kaori, Kouki along with the rest of the summoned classmates. By the time he had seen the recordings of what transpired in the "Frost Caverns of Schnee" he had come to fully accept Hajime as Shizuku's lover/fiancee/husband. He also tried to bring Hajime in to become the Ninja Master of the Yaegeshi family by making various offers to him until he was forced to give up by Hajime's repeated refusals to the offers.

- Master Swordsman - Shuuzou has spent much of his life training in the art of swordsmanship.
Combat Styles & Techniques[]
- Yaegashi Style - A style of samurai martial arts has been developed by the "Yaegashi Dojo" that had been around for generations. Though its primarily focused on Kenjutsu, more suitable for weapons like a katana, but it also has iaijutsu techniques which utilizes the scabbard and also taijutsu techniques, which employs hand-to-hand combat.
