Samantha (サマンサ, Samansa?) is a university student in Great Britain, as well as a waitress at Woody's restaurant "ILS" (I Love Salmon).

- The name "Samantha" may by from the masculine given name "Samuel" from the root "sh’ma alohim > sh‘ma ‘êl > shemû’êl" and the Greek "ánthos (ἄνθος)," meaning "flower." A variant of this speculation is that it may have been a feminine form of Samuel with the addition of the already existing female name "Anthea." Other suggestions include the Aramaic noun "šemʿanta," meaning "listener."
