Rin Hino (
Appearance[]
Rin is a girl in her teens, and wears her hair in twin tails.
Personality[]
Rin is a tough and bold girl. No matter how many times she is repelled, she will continue to persevere in her objective. However, many of her fellow students fid her behavior to be annoying at times. This is mostly in due to her idolization of an upperclassman at her school, Shizuku Yaegashi, so much in fact, that it borders on an obsession for her.
Chronology[]
It's currently unknown the circumstances in which Rin came into the Soul Sisters, but it can be speculated that she is one of it's original members, along with Mitsuki Amanogawa, and Manami Endou. When Shizuku and the rest of her class were summoned to the alternate world Tortus, Rin and the rest were waiting dearly for her return. Fortunately, Shizuku did come back, along with the remaining students of her class. Unfortunately (for Rin and her fellow Soul Sisters), Shizuku was in love with Hajime Nagumo, and not Mitsuki's older brother Kouki. This lead her to enrolling into their school to investigate the relationship between the two.
During the school festival Rin begged Shizuku to come to the maid café that her class was hosting, to which she obliged. Hajime ad the rest of his family had also came along with her, much to Rin's (and the other Soul Sisters that were hidden) own chagrin. While servicing Hajime's table, she spitefully only offered him tap water. Hajime's daughter Myu asked why he was only getting water, to which Hajime explained that Rin was being mean to him. This prompted Myu to also order water to be in solidarity to Hajime, despite visibly showing how she wanted to have cake. Rin then nervously retracted her previous order and offered each of them cake. She offered to let Myu wear a child-sized maid outfit, to which she happily accepted. Once Myu changed into the maid outfit, Rin and the other students were take aback with how cute she was. Once Hajime and the others had finished eating their cake, Rin revealed that the cafe was a trap for Hajime, and proceeded to encircle him with other members of the Soul Sisters. They planned to shoot Hajime with water pistols, in order to make it look like he wet himself, and thus embarrass him in front of the entire school. However, Hajime quickly grabbed Rin and shielded from the incoming water, and soaked her lower body before he dragged her out of the classroom. As Rin quickly garnered the attention of may nearby students, she quickly denied having wet herself to them before running away pigeon-toed and vowing revenge on Hajime. Hajime then managed to snag their water guns and was prepared to shot them, but they quickly fled the classroom.
On valentines day, Rin attempted to trick Hajime into eating chocolate that contained laxatives, Hajime easily ate the chocolate without it having any effect, he then groped around Rin's clothes until he fund chocolate that was meant for Shizuku and he forced Rin to eat the chocolate causing her to rush to the bathroom, hajime commented that she must be a hero to defy the demon king in that way and asked around for a status plate.
About a year after Shizuku and the other students returned to Japan, when the Returnees were about go on a field trip to Kyoto, Rin was at the gathering spot earlier than everybody else to tell Shizuku to stay safe and use Hajime as an escape decoy if plans go awry, burring and rubbing her face into Shizuku's chest. However, Shizuku was really embarrassed by her acting out like it was the last time they would meet, this lead to Hajime intervening by grabbing the crazed fan girl in the back of her head and grinding his fingers on it so hard, he could crush it with his bare hand, all the while he simply yawned and Rin was writhing in agony. Hajime then tied her to a nearby electric pole via wire, covered her mouth with a mouth gag, and hung a sign that read, "In the middle of morning training. Please don't talk to me." around her neck. However that didn't stop her from attempting to slip out her bindings, as soon as Hajime saw this, he took out a bola binding her down again. In a last ditch attempt, Rin slipped out from her bindings and started to pursue the bus, but she fell into the asphalt.
When Shizuku and Hajime were on their way to do a wedding-themed photoshoot as a favor for Kouki's mother, they were suddenly approached by Rin and the other Soul Sisters just as they arrived at the venue. They attempted to attack Hajime in order to make him unable to do the shoot. Hajime easily repelled the Soul Sisters after he grabbed her and forced her to drink a laxative before tying her pigtails up and writing on her face with a permanent marker as an example of what would happen if they tried to challenge him. As the Souls Sisters were prepared to leave, Manami and Mitsuki suspected that she actually liked being bullied by Hajime, much to her denial.

Hajime Nagumo[]
Like the rest of the Souls Sisters, Rin is hostile towards Hajime and wants to end his relationship with Shizuku, which has always ended in failure. Despite her repeated attempts to get in his way, Hajime admits he doesn't hate her and enjoys the back-and-forth banter with her and the other Soul Sisters. He occasionally shows affection towards Rin and compares her to Shea Haulia from when they first met. Furthermore, Rin expresses affection towards Hajime, and this is commented on by her fellow Soul Sisters revealing that she might be a closeted masochist.

Etymology[]
- The name "Rin" means "dignified, severe, cold" (凜, rin?)
