Neon is a hardcore gaming otaku. He has dedicated himself to playing games, and even made his own online gaming streaming channel.
Despite his meek appearance, Neon is very quick to get angry.

Hajime Nagumo[]
Neon is one of Hajime's oldest friends. Despite having never met in person before entering the same univeristy, the two of them got along well the they played online games together. Hajime felt bad for making Neon feel that he abandoned him in high school (unaware that Hajime had actually been summoned to another world). After they reunited in university, Hajime revealed his otherworldly abilities to him.

Kenshin is one of Neon's oldest friends.

Neon becomes attracted to Akari during their first encounter, due to her physical appearance reminding of his favourite female video game character.
