Nea Haulia (ネア・ハウリア, Nea Hauria?) is a rabbitman of the Haulia Tribe. Eventually, she becomes rank two of the Fleur Knights, under the codename Nemesia (ネメシア, Nemeshia?).

Appearance

Nea is a young rabbitman with rabbit ears and a cute face.

Personality

After having been trained to fight by Hajime, Nea acts as a hardened and bloodthirsty fighter.

When in the presence of those that she both respects and is intimidated by (such as Hajime and Shea), Nea is able to present herself in a more docile and cute tone.

Chronology

Nea, along with the rest of the Haulia Tribe, were exiled from the Sea of Trees due to them concealing Shea's existence to the rest of the beastmen. They were later rescued by Hajime Nagumo at Reisen Gorge while they were attacked by monsters. Hajime would then have the Haulia Tribe act as his guards while attempting to reach the labyrinth that resided in the Sea of Tree in exchange for his protection. After learning that the fog around the labyrinth would not be clear enough to reach for ten days, Hajime trained the Haulia Tribe in that timeframe, which resulted in turning them into bloodthirsty warriors. When they reached the labyrinth, Hajime learned that he needed to clear four labyrinths before he could enter it. Hajime then parted with the Haulia Tribe while he left to explore the other labyrinths.

Sometime later, Nea and Par were patrolling the forest when they suddenly felt a disturbance and realized that an enemy attack was immanent. They the heard screaming and headed towards its direction, to which they came across the corpses of two beastmen guards from Verbergen. As Nea and Par were examining the corpses, they were suddenly attacked by some insect-like monsters. Nea managed to dodge their attacks, although the tips of her rabbit ears were shaved off, which greatly angered her. Realizing that the two of them were outnumbered, Par ordered Nea to retreat while he provided cover for her. Nea arrived safely back to the Haulia Tribe, and reported to Chief Cam of her encounter. The Haulia Tribe soon learned that the monsters were under the control of demons, and that they were using them to invade the see of Trees. Determined to protect the forest, so that the Great Labyrinth would fall into enemy hands, the Haulia Tribe fought the demons, and managed to wipe them out using guerrilla tactics.

After Hajime and Shea became lovers, Nea and several other female rabbitemen were jealous because they had fallen for Hajime as well. When Hajime and Shea were about to spend their first night together as a couple, Mina and the others tried to stop them in the hopes that Hajime would let them join as well. Their efforts, however, were thwarted by Yue, as she managed to hold them off while giving Hajime and Shea the time to be together without any distractions.

When the self-styled god Ehit was planning to wipe out all life on Tortus, Nea and the rest of the Haulia Tribe fought alongside an alliance of nations against Ehit's forces. During the battle, the Haulia Tribe would launch sneak attacks against Ehit's apostles that engaged with the allied soldiers. When an apostle was about to kill Duke Lanzwi, Nea jumped off the head of one of his soldiers to get directly above the apostle. She landed on its back and stabbed her core, as well cutting off the apostle’s head. She then rode the body to the ground and landed right in front of Lanzwi. She took off her sunglasses and gave the apostle’s corpse a disparaging look, and then turned towards Lanzwi and the others, who were shocked by the ordeal. Nea grinned as she put her sunglasses back on, and returned to battle.

After a hard fought battle, the allied forces of Tortus were victorious when Hajime killed Ehit. After the war, Nea and several other Haulia Tribe members were assigned to be Verbergen's ambassadors to the empire. Nea would often spar with Princess Tracy D. Hoelscher.
