Oscar and Naiz got along rather well, spending hours talking and playing games. Oscar felt a special kinship with Naiz. due to the of of them being the only Ancient Magics users that were not of noble or royal birth.
While Naiz was happy to be traveling with Oscar, he was unnerved by some of his friend's abnormal quirks, such as his fetish for maids.
Miledi Reisen[]
Naiz frequently got annoyed with Miledi's antics, and constantly restrained her whenever she became too overbearing. Even so, he was happy to be traveling with her and would fight alongside her anytime.
Susha Liv Doumibral[]
Susha was in love with Naiz after he rescued her and her sister Yunfa from monsters. She was the one who came up with the nickname "Fairy of the Desert" for him in order to protect his identity. Naiz was greatly saddened of her death.
Yunfa Liv Doumibral[]
Like her sister, Yunfa was in love with Naiz. The two of them would eventually get married, and would even name their first child in honor of Susha.

Yogun Gruen Caliente[]
Yogun was Naiz's best friend since childhood. While they trained together until they could enlist in the army, Yogun grew increasingly jealous and resentful of Niaz for his incredible skills in both combat and magic. It would reach a point that Yogun told the ruler of the Caliente region about Naiz being in possession of Ancient Magic in order to obtain recognition. Even after Yogun regretted his actions and sacrificed himself to save Naiz, his feelings towards Yogun remain conflicted. While he is unable to forgive him for his betrayal and essentially being the reason that his family was killed, he will always remember fondly of the times they spent together, as well as regretting the fact that he didn't try to help Yogun overcome his jealousy when he had the chance to.
Suzanne[]
Naiz's female pet irak. Suzanne had been with him for years before he joined the Liberators and was the only one that he opened up to emotionally. Naiz was greatly saddened about having to sell her after deciding to travel with Miledi and Oscar. He was able to understand the noises she makes as if she was talking to him normally. When Naiz constructed his Labyrinth, he had one of its monsters created in memory of Suzanne.
