Miya Amanogawa (
Appearance[]
Miya has a beautiful figure with soft black hair and droopy looking eyes, but she gives off an impression of a gentle woman.
Personality[]
During her youth Miya has a strong fighting spirit, as well as a wanderlust and trouble-making nature. She also had trouble trusting adults.
As she has grown up, Miya has become a lot more mellow, but still possess her fighting spirit.
Background[]
Miya grew up as yankee delinquent in Japan. She would always go on adventures, while also frequently getting into trouble. At some point, she became a disciple of Yaegashi Dojo. When she was in high school, she found herself in a dangerous situation, and needed the help of the dojo's instructor Shuuzou Yaegashi, as well as her fellow disciple Kirino. Afterwords, she spent more time training at the dojo, but later dropped out due to not being compatible with their combat techniques.
After she graduated high school, Miya went on a journey of self-discovery, while still getting into trouble. When she returned home, she was married to a man named Seiji, and also got a job working as an editor for a fashion magazine. She later gave birth to her two children Kouki and Mitsuki. During Kouki's childhood, Miya and the rest of her family would visit her husband's father Kanji every year during the holidays. Unfortunately, Kanji passed away just before Kouki started elementary school. At some point during Kouki's childhood, Miya sent him to train at the Yaegashi Dojo in order to help discipline him.
When Kouki was in his second year of high school, he and his entire class were summoned to another world, and stayed there for a whole year.
Chronology[]
Upon the return of the surviving classmates to Earth, Miya and the rest of her family saw her son Kouki enter the house he started to explain the circumstances of their sudden disappearance until his friend Ryutarou Sakagami while he was in his werewolf form storm into the house after they panicked when he transform. Seiji fainted, Miya went on a rampage with a knife, and Mitsuki wetted herself. Kouki immediately knew it was Ryutarou and calmed Miya down and made Mitsuki sleep, all before he punched his friend in the face. After the mess, Kouki and Ryutarou's families help a meeting in order understand what happened.
When demon-worshiping cultists were attacking the homes of the Returnees, Miya was holding a metal bat to fight those who were at the Amanogawa residence, if Seiji's negotiations with them had failed. She and he rest of her family were saved by Ryutarou, and were later relocated to Hajime Nagumo's home, along with the other families of the Returnees, to protect them for the duration of the incident.
Relationships[]
Kouki Amanogawa[]
Miya loves her son very much. He was very proud of his accomplishments, but was worried due to him having never experiencing ay real hardships prior to being summoned to Tortus.
Shuuzou Yaegashi[]
Miya's former instructor. She greatly respects him after he helped her out during her youth.
Shizuku Yaegashi[]
Shizuku has known Miya since childhood, and treats her like an aunt. Miya secretly hoped that Shizuku would be the one to help Kouki experience the harshess of reality, due to believing that she would reject him if he ever asked her out on a date.
Hajime Nagumo[]
Despite Kouki's complicated relationship with Hajime, Miya holds no animosity towards him. She is very remorseful for her son's attempt to kill him in Tortus, while also grateful that it was Hajime that ultimately caused Kouki to have a better understanding of reality, and making him realize that things don't always go as one wants.

Etymology[]
- The name "Miya" means "beautiful" (美, mi?) and "question mark" (耶, ya?), which is used as an interjection.
- The "ya" in Miya's name is a Japanese kanji reading of yé.
- Miya's married surname "Amanogawa" means "heaven/heavenly, sky, imperial" (天, ama?), "this" (之, no?) and "river, stream" (河, kawa/gawa?).
