Kirino is a beautiful woman that exudes a gentle and calm presence.
Personality[]
Background[]
During Kirino's youth, she was a disciple of the Yaegashi Dojo. When she was a teenager, she and the dojo's head instructor Shuuzou helped out another disciple Miya when she had gotten herself into trouble.[2] At some point, Kirino married Shuuzou's son Koichi, and would eventually gave birth to their daughter Shizuku.
Chronology[]
When Shizuku and the rest of her class mysteriously disappeared during her second year of high school, all of the parents looked for them, but eventually, they gave up (with the exception of Shuu and Sumire Nagumo). One year later, Shizuku and the rest of her class reappeared, and had told their parents about their adventures in another world, as well as Shizuku revealing that she was now in a relationship with her classmate Hajime Nagumo.
One day when Hajime was visiting Shizuku at her home, after enduring various sneak attacks from members of the Yaegashi Dojo, Kirino approached him through a secret passage in the ceiling of her daughter's bedroom and presented him with some tea and snacks during his visit. Shizuku asked her mother if she was a ninja after witnessing what her family and disciples of their dojo were doing to Hajime, but Kirino casually brushed off her accusations and jumped back up the hidden passage. As Shizuku and Hajime were enjoying there time together, Hajime revealed that Kirino had laced his snacks with a paralytic drug (he was immune thanks to his "Paralysis Resistance" skill), which immediately prompted Shizuku to confront her family for their treatment of Hajime.

Kirino and her husband love each other, and apparently have a very active nightlife.

Hajime Nagumo[]
Kirino is grateful to Hajime for looking after Shizuku, but will occasionally join the rest of her family in expressing their animosity at him marrying her through the use of of sneak attacks.
When Kirino accompanies Hajime and his family to Tortus during their winter holiday, she never once condemned Hajime for the morally objectionable things he had done in his journey to find a way back to Earth while also expressing sincere gratitude for every time he had saved Shizuku, Kaori, Kouki along with the rest of the summoned classmates. By the time she had seen the recordings of what transpired in the "Frost Caverns of Schnee" she had come to fully accept Hajime as Shizuku's lover/fiancee/husband.
By the time Hajime became a college student, married Shizuku (along with his other lovers) and was getting ready to go on an otherworld trip with his family & friends for summer vacation, it was revealed that she, Kaoruko Shirasaki and Luluaria S. B. Heiligh expressed their wish for Hajime to address them as "Okaa-san/Mother-in-law/Haha-ue".
Sumire Nagumo[]
Kirino has formed a friendship with Sumire.
Miya Amanogawa[]
Kirino has known Miya for years, and even helped her out from when she was a delinquent.

- Master Swordswoman - Kirino has spent much of her life training in the art of swordsmanship.
Combat Styles & Techniques[]
- Yaegashi Style - A style of samurai martial arts has been developed by the Yaegashi Dojo that had been around for generations. Though its primarily focused on Kenjutsu, more suitable for weapons like a katana, but it also has iaijutsu techniques, which utilizes the scabbard, and also taijutsu techniques, which employ hand-to-hand combat.
