Kharga Klarus (ハルガ・クラルス, Haruga Kurarusu?) was Tio's father and the former King of the Dragonmen.
He died by sacrificing himself to fight off of Ehit's forces for Tio and the other dragonmen to escape.
Appearance[]
Kharga was a handsome man with long black hair and could also transform into a large dragon with black scales.
Personality[]
Kharga was wise and compassionate. He welcomed those of other races into his Kingdom and was a huge advocate of peace. He was a firm believer in the ideal that Dragonmen should act as protectors of their world, and they should not succumb to anger or hatred.
Even after his people were killed by those that he once welcomed with open arms, Kharga was able to get past his anger and know that the true enemy was Ehit who manipulated the people of Tortus to attack the dragonmen. While he stays behind to give his daughter the chance to escape, he refused to give Ehit any satisfaction of killing those that are attacking him, and instead uses his powers to defend his people until he died.
Kharga tended to charge headfirst into battle and was willing to endure any attack that his enemies throwed at him.
Background[]
Kharga was the king of the dragonmen at a time when beings of all races could live together in peace, and his nation was at the center of it all. Unfortunately, his people were declared to be enemies of Ehit and were attacked by his followers. Kharga and his father Adul made preparations for their people to survive, which including faking Adul's death so that he may live and rule their people while in hiding. Kharga also tried to kill Ehit, but was unsuccessful in his efforts. As his people were getting massacred, he reunited with his daughter Tio, while he was severely wounded, and informed her of the Dragonmen's defeat. It was then that they saw the crucified body of Tio's mother. Ornaa, among others, that was being used as an example of what would happen to the enemies of Ehit. This prompted Tio to grow in anger and desired to avenge what was happening to her people, but Kharga stopped her by reminding her that dragonmen were beings who vowed to protect the world. He explained to Tio that the true enemy were Ehit and that he was powerful and cunning, but Kharga held out hope that someone would one day arrive and overthrow him. He had Tio escape to where the rest of the dragonmen were hiding, while he stayed behind to sacrifice himself and make it look like the dragonmen had all perished by allowing himself to be killed since he was their king.
A stone memorial was erected in the hidden village of the surviving dragonmen, with the names of all those who died during the the kingdom’s fall, including Kharga.

Kharga loved his daughter very much. He was able to rid Tio of her thoughts of vengeance after witnessing their people getting killed. He sacrificed himself so that she can escape and live in peace.

Physical Abilities[]
- Immense Durability - Kharga was the sturdiest of the dragonmen during his time. His scales were able to neutralize most attacks. As a result, he had developed a penchant for charging into battle with no regard for what his enemy may use against him.
Skills[]
- Draconification - Kharga could transform into a Dragon with an incredible level of defense.
- Dragon Scales Hardening - A skill to use magic to further harden his dragon scales. It was possible to further increase the dragon form's basic status and resistances.
- Partial Draconification - The dragon scales that originally could only appear in Kharga’s black dragon form can be put used like chainmail so that they won't obstruct the movement of his Human form.
- Mana Manipulation - A skill to use magic without chants and magic circles.
- Fire Magic Affinity - It allows the user to use fire magic at a capable rate.
