Kartos (カルトゥス, Karutousu?) is one of the dragonmen Elders and possess a rare job known as Observer.

Kartos is an elderly man with slit eyes.
Personality[]
Kartos maintains a calm and patient demeanor. After Tio displays her new perverted personality to her people, Kartos is the only one that is not deeply traumatized by this revelation.
Chronology[]
Kartos was one of the dragonmen who escaped the destruction of his people that had been orchestrated by Tortus' self-styled god Ehit. He and the other survivors fled to a faraway island where they lived in peace for over 500 years. During that time, Kartos served as one of the dragonmen village elders and used his job's observational skills to keep track of all events on the mainland.
One day, he sensed an immense amount of mana being channeled, which was Ehit summoning the heroes from Earth. Due to one of his derivative skills, he was able to detect a powerful individual who held the rare job of "Hero." Upon hearing this news, Princess Tio Klarus volunteered to venture out into the mainland in order to ascertain the capabilities of these individuals.
When Tio returned to her home to report her findings, Kartos was able to sense her arrival and had a messenger report the news to her family. After arriving to her home and meeting up with the rest of her people, Tio revealed to them of Ehit's plan of wiping out all life on Tortus in order to use their energy to travel to Earth. Tio then showed them recordings of the events that unfolded prior to her return. As the recordings displayed Tio's companion Hajime Nagumo bravely confronting Ehit's minions, most of the dragonmen initially mistook him has the Hero, but Kartos quickly corrected them by proclaiming that he was actually a "Synergist" after sensing it with his abilities, much to their shock. After Hajime's abilities where fully displayed, as well as an accidental showing of a recording of him whipping Tio while she was screaming in pleasure, Tio revealed that she had fallen in love with him after being brutally beaten by him during their first encounter. This caused most of the dragonmen to be completely overcome with shock and fell into a state of depression for seeing their once noble princess having been turned into a massive masochist. Kartos was the only one left that remained calm and advised Tio to return to her house while he worked to keep the rest of the dragonmen under control.

Initially, Kartos respects and cares for her as the princess of the dragonmen. After she returns and reveals her new perverted personality, Kartos becomes completely disillusioned with her and treated as if she was a burden, but still cares for her.
