Chronology

Joshua was among the knights tasked with escorting Aiko Hatayama while while she traveled the Heiligh Kingdom in order to improve their food production with her Skills as a Farmer. When they visited Ur, Aiko's student and bodyguard Yukitoshi Shimizu had disappeared, followed by the sudden appearance of Hajime Nagumo, who everyone thought had died in the Great Orcus Labyrinth. Soon after, Ur was attacked by an army of over 60,000 monsters, but were stopped thanks to Hajime as his companions. It was revealed that the Monster invasion had been orchestrated by Yukitoshi, in a bid to kill Aiko for the demons, but he was killed by Hajime after it failed.

When Ehit was preparing to wipe out all life on Tortus, Joshua was among those that took part in the fight against the mad god. The night before the final battle, Joshua and his squad approached Hajime and tearfully begged him to have sex with Aiko in order to appease her (much to Hajime's disturbance).

During the battle against Ehit's apostles, Joshua and the Templar Knights, and well as many members of the Hero Party, were guarding both Aiko and the church's priests on the command centre's rooftop, where the latter was casting magic that weakened the apostles. The army of apostles eventually broke through the Tortus' defences, and were on the verge of destroying their leaders, but suddenly became motionless due to Ehit having been killed by Hajime. Realizing that they had won the battle, Joshua and the other soldiers cheered in victory.
