"Job" (てんしょく, Tenshoku?) is a term used to define the natural aptitude of a person. Jobs are directly linked to Skills, and determines what kind of skills a person can know or learn. It is also quite uncommon for people to possess a Job.

Job's are split into two disciplines, 'combat' and 'non-combat' oriented; with 'combat' oriented Job's being exceedingly rare, while 'non-combat' oriented Job's are somewhat rare.

  • Synergist - A pretty common 'non-combat' oriented Job in-existence with 1 in 10 people possessing it, and Hajime refered as a type of alchemist its skills focused on craftsmanship and blacksmithing magic.
  • Hero - An extremely rare 'combat' oriented Job, but not much is known as to what exactly it's supposed to represent. It has the highest development potential of all classes, with affinity to all Element's and many-specialized skills, focusing more on physical combat aspects.
  • Farmer - An extremely rare 'non-combat' oriented Job, which focuses on fertility magic to cultivating the land and help revitalize it.
  • Priest - A Job which is mainly support 'combat' oriented. Its main focus is on Healing and Cleansing skills, but it also has good affinity with Light Magic, which allows the usage of protective Barriers or Binding skills.
  • Divine Priestess - An extremely rare 'combat' oriented Job, with affinity to all Element's and many-specialized skills, focusing more on magical combat aspects.
  • Diviner - A rare Job which focuses on future perception and sights.
  • Guardian - A rare Job which focuses on defensive and protective capabilities.
  • Swordsmaster - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on swordsmanship.
  • Assassin - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on stealth-based attacks.
  • Monk - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on melee combat.
  • Heavy Knight - a 'combat' oriented Job that acts as part of the vanguard and would take the brunt of most attacks for their party.
  • Acrobat - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using daggers.
  • Arabian Kirito/Cutlassier - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on swordsmanship.
  • Dragoon - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using the spear.
  • Whip Master - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using the whip.
  • Barrier Master - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on barrier magic.
  • Invoker - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using support magic.
  • Pyromancer - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using fire magic.
  • Aeromancer - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using wind magic.
  • Geomancer - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using earth magic.
  • Cryomancer - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using ice magic.
  • Dark Mage - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using dark magic. In combat, its main purpose is to debuff enemies.
  • Necromancer - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using necromancy magic.
  • Light Warrior - a 'combat' oriented Job which focuses on using a longsword.
  • Scribe - a Job that which focuses on writing and drawing.
  • Observer - a rare Job which focuses on detecting the flow of mana.
  • Artist - a Job which focuses on producing artwork such as drawings and sculptures.
  • Wordsmith - a Job that focuses on writing poems and stories, with derivative skills that allow for the absorption and dissemination of information.
  • Bard - a Job that focuses on producing music with instruments and support magic.

  • Shizuku Yaegashi believes that in addition to his Synergist job, Hajime Nagumo also possesses another combat job:
    • Gunner - a yet-to be known "combat" Job which focuses on guns and firearms.
  • According to Vandre Schnee, his job is Artist, which allows him to create various beautiful artworks in addition to making his muffler more stylish. As a result of vague interpretation and due to Vandre's great combat skills, Vadre states that martial arts falls under the category of art much to the other Liberators bewilderment.
