Horaud

The Outpost Town of Horaud (宿（しゅ）場（くば）町（まち）ホルアド, Shukuba Machi Horuado^?) is a small town that exist primarily to service the adventurers who travel there in order to challenge the Great Orcus Labyrinth.

Layout

Hourad is located along the southwestern portion of the mainland's northern hemisphere.

Horaud is a small town that is surrounded by a large cliff. It has one large pathway in the center that leads to the Great Orcus Labyrinth, due to it being the primary reason why people travel to Horaud. In addition, it is full of various venders that sell their goods to travelers. Several buildings, such as the Adventurer's Guild of Horaud, are actually made out of the cliff walls that surrounds the town.

History

Horaud was built where the Kingdom of Velka's capital city Velnika used to stand thousands of years ago (which was also the birthplace of Great Orcus Labyrinth's creator Oscar Orcus).

When the heroes from Earth were summoned to Tortus by Ehit, they traveled to Horaud in order to explore the Great Orcus Labyrinth to fight the monsters that lived there, as part of their training for when they had to fight against the demons to save humanity.

Trivia

• In the Manga, the inn that the Hero Party was staying at during their time in Horaud was a regular building. In the Anime, the inn was shown to have been made from the cliff that surrounded Horaud.. The Manga later redesigns the inn to make its appearance identical to that of the Anime.
