A Hero (
Characteristics[]
In times of crisis, a hero will be chosen by a god that acts as a guardian of its World Tree. They will be bestowed with various abilities, as well as a weapon the contains the essence of the god.
If a god is unable to locate a person to be the hero from their native world, then they will summon one from another world. Furthermore, there are also rituals that the people can use to summon a hero from another world.
As a hero, they are typically the only ones allowed by the gods to freely travel between worlds.
In the world of Tortus, hero is also a job. It has the highest development potential of all jobs, with a magical affinity to all elements and many-specialized skills, focusing more on physical combat aspects. Its true purpose is to serve as a protector for the grand tree "Uralt", that acts as a branch for the world tree in True World Astral.
Aside from possessing incredible powers, the most unique aspect of the hero is their ability to have fundamental control over each world's unique energy through the use of the god's weapon.[1]
