Helina Ashe (ヘリーナ・アシエ, Herīna Ashie?) is the personal maid and bodyguard of Princess Liliana. Years later, she eventually becomes the leader of the Fleur Knights on Earth, using the codename Heliotrope (ヘリオトロープ, Heriotorōpu?), while using the name Sandra Winchester (サンドラ・ウィンチェスター, Sandora Winchesutā?) as her alter ego.
Appearance
Helina is a tall woman with moderately sized breasts, and has long dark-brown hair that was tightly bundled into a bun, and has almond-shaped eyes.
She wears a Victorian-style maid outfit with a scarf that has a crimson jeweled brooch attached to it.
Personality
Helina is very loyal and supportive to her master and would stand by Liliana, and later Hajime, and would follow their orders without hesitation. She is also seen to be a very opportunistic person, as she tried to proposition Liliana to Hajime in order to improve the kingdom's influence, and by extension, improve her own well-being.
Background
Helina was born into the prestigious house of Count Ashe in the Heiligh Kingdom. She would eventually become Princess Liliana's personal maid.
Chronology
Helina was among those that accompanied Princess Liliana to the Hoelscher Empire in order to request their support after the Heiligh Kingdom was invaded by an army of demons and monsters. They all travelled in Hajime Nagumo's large flying ship "Fernir".
On their way to the kingdom, they were forced to make an emergency landing due to Hajime over-exerting his ship's speed, and causing it to crash. As Hajime was repairing the ship, Helina was serving to everyone while they was. I was during this time that Helina had accidentally switched bodies with Liliana (as well as several other people exchanging bodies) after Hajime's companions Yue and Kaori had displayed their newly-acquired spirit magic. When some guards returned after patrolling the area, Liliana, while in Helina's body, decided to pull a prank o he unsuspecting guards by acting in a very cute manner that was very different from Helina's normal behavior. Helina became so embarrassed by Liliana's antics that she ordered the princess's subjects to kneel before her in a very scary tone. This prompted to Liliana to plead with Yue and Kaori to switch back everyone's bodies.
After every returned to their original bodies, they all resumed their journey in Fernir, until they arrived at the lakeside town Ur. Unfortunately, the town had experienced an unusual rain that had lasted nonstop for a month. Nevertheless, they decided to stay they knight at Ur Water Sprite Inn. The next morning, Helina and several others, including Hajime's Tortus-born companions, had mysteriously lost part oft their memories. This prompted Hajime to investigate the Northern Mountain Range after previously learning that a mysterious ruin had been discovered jus before Ur was afflicted by the nonstop rain. It was too revealed that Helina and the others actually had part of they souls stolen, due to their combat prowess, and were absorbed into ancient golems that immigrated their fighting styles. Hajime even fought against a golem that absorbed abilities, and managed to subdue it, but refrained from destroying it, out of fear of inflicting damage to Helina's soul. After Hajime and his companions managed to destroy the golems, as well as cut off their source of power, Helina and the others regained their memories (but had forgotten their time from when they first lost them). Three days later, they resumed their journey to the empire. During their trip, Hajime expressed praised at Helina for being s good maid after having fought the golem that obtained her fighting skills (much to everyone's shock).
Upon arriving at imperial captial, Helina, Liliana and the rest of her entourage were shocked to see that it been devastated as a result of the demons having attacked the empire as well.
The night of Liliana's engagement party with Prince Baius, which was being thrown as a ay to help unify both nations following the demons' invasion, Helina and the other servants were helping Liliana put on her outfit. Prince Baius soon barged in and demanded that all the maids leave him and Liliana, to which they reluctantly complied to when Liliana told them to do so.
A few days after Liliana's engagement was cancelled due to the empire having been attacked by the Haulia Tribe and having killed Prince Baius, Helina noticed how the princess was lost in thought and suspected that it was due to Hajime. When they were all traveling to the beastman nation Verbergen, Helina encouraged Liliana to go after him and gave Liliana advice on how to get his attention, but all her efforts proved in vain as Hajime refused to reciprocate Liliana's feelings. After some time in Verbergen, Helina would later be forcibly sent back to the kingdom with Liliana and the rest of her guards through Hajime's space-warping "Gate Hole" artifact.
One evening, Helina accompanied Liliana and Knight Commander Kuzeli Reil as they were visiting the kingdom's memorial for all the knights that were killed during the demons' invasion. When they arrived, they spotted Kousuke Endou, who was there to morn the former Knight Commander Meld Loggins. Soon after Kousuke received some words of encouragement from Kuzeli, the palance was suddenly under attack by a powerful foe. Helina and Kuzeli did their best to protect Liliana, but the princess, as well as all the heroes of Earth, were captured and taken prisoner to the demon nation Garland. They would later be rescued by Hajime.
When the nations of Tortus were preparing to fight against Ehit, who was planning to kill everyone and steal their mana to get to Earth, Helina approached Hajime the night before the battle and attempted to persuade him to take Princess Liliana as his lover, in order to improve the kingdom's standing. However, she was soon interrupted by the Holy Church's Templar Knights Commander David, who asked Hajime to accept Aiko instead.
Throughout the battle, Helina remained by Liliana's side in the allied forces HQ. Eventually, Ehit army of apostles managed to break through their defence and breached the command center. Helina fought desperately against an apostle in order to protect Liliana, but she was no match for her and was severely injured. As the apostle was about to kill her, however, it and the other apostles suddenly ceased moving. Helina warily stepped forward and stabbed the apostle, which surprisingly was enough to cause it to collapse. It would be revealed soon after that Hajime succeeded in killing Ehit.
Following Ehit's death, Helina assisted Liliana in her efforts to rebuild the kingdom, which was destroyed at the start of the battle. One month after, Helina notified Liliana and the heroes of Earth that Hajime was ready to create the artifact that could take them all back home.
After Story
Helina was tasked by Hajime to compile a list of potential candidates to join the Fleur Knights. Over the course of the next five years, they had been recruiting each of its members, and had them trained intensively by the Haulia Tribe.
When Liliana was targeted by various foreign government black ops units one Earth due to the rising influence of both her and her newly founded aid network, Helina (now known as "Heliotrope") was tasked to neutralize the enemies that were spying them near the work studio of her her master's mother Sumire, and had her subordinate Salvia assist Sumire and her staff. After Heliotrope successfully subdued the enemies, she then ordered another one of her subordinate Primula escort the people from the "Returnee Response Division" to them.
Following this event, Koutaro Hattori, the liaison for the Returnees, offered to temporarily relocate the Nagumo family to a government-owned safe house. Heliotrope then requested to let the Fleur Knights eliminate the newfound enemies, to which they succeeded before abducting their leaders so that Hajine could discuss the situation with them. Heliotrope would later became Liliana's secretary for her aid network, while using the alias "Sandra Winchester".
