Gadner (ガドナー, Gadonā?) is a demon.
Appearance[]
Garner is an adult male red hair and read eyes. Like all members of his race, he has red skin and pointed ears.
Personality[]
Initially, Garner was a fervent believer of demon ideology. He considered his race to be superior race of all others in Tortus. However, after Hajime had met Gander and the other demons once more, and gave the opportunity to rebuild heir homeland, despite him having enough power to wipe out all the demons, Gander worldview changed considerable, as a result, as sought to live in co-existence with the rest of Tortus.
Biography[]
Gadner was among the demons that failed to enter the Sanctuary of Tortus's god Ehit, due to the intervention of Hajime Nagumo. As the demons attacked Hajime with their magic, Hajime mercilessly killed many of them with his existence-denying chains artifact. Garner and the remaining demons surrendered to Hajime and begged him to spare them, but Hajime refused and proceeded to kill the remaining demons. He soon turned his attention to Garner's son Gert, to which Gadner attempted to shield him. As Hajime was about to kill the two of them, his adopted daughter Myu stepped in between him and the two demons, and pleaded for him return back to his former self. Hajime soon managed regained himself thanks to the intervention of Kaori Shirasaki. After Hajime ceased his destructive spree, he confined Gadner and the other surviving demons into the dungeon under Garland's palace.
After Hajime killed Ehit, Gadner and the rest of the imprisoned demons helped to slowly reintegrate the rest of their brethren back into society, who were in a state of suspended animation after entering the Sanctuary, and having returned back to Tortus upon its destruction. They were also aided by demons from a faction that opposed the belief that they were superior to all other races.

- Hajime Nagumo - Garner is absolutely terrified of Hajime from their first encounter. However, it was Hajime that ultimately changed Gander’s worldview with regards to demons being considered the strongest race, and now seeks to live in peace with them instead.
