"Worthless Rabbit" (残念なウサギ, Zan'nen'na Usagi^?) is the 6^th episode for Season One of the Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest Anime adaptation. It aired in Japan on August 19, 2019.

This episode was initially going to air on August 12, but was postponed by a week for unknown reasons.

Synopsis

After finally making it back to the surface, Hajime and Yue encounter a rabbit girl who claims she's been "waiting for them" -- and needs their help.

Summary

Hajime and Yue finally emerge from the Great Orcus Labyrinth where they encounter a young rabbitman girl named Shea who for some strange reason had been waiting for them. She introduces herself as Shea Haulia and explains that she sought Hajime and Yue to help save her family who was forced to flee their home in the Haltina Sea of Trees.

Differences from Light Novel

• In the Light Novel, Hajime and Yue encounter a pack of monsters in Reisen Gorge before they encounter Shea. In the Anime, they encounter Shea immediately after exiting the Great Orcus Labyrinth.
• The Anime omits Hajime using his "Lightning Field" on Shea in order to determine how much of his mana would dissipate while in Reisen Gorge.
• Yue using the spell "Crystal Coffin" on Shea after she tries to hug Hajime in gratitude for agreeing to save her family does not occur in the Light Novel.
• In the Light Novel, Hajime's motorcycle "Steiff" has a quiet engine. In the Anime, it has a loud engine.
• In the Light Novel, the members of the Haulia Tribe have dark-blue hair. In the Anime, they each have a different hair color.
• The scenes involving the young rabbitgirl are not mentioned in the Light Novel.
• The Anime omits Hajime killing the soldiers from the Hoelscher Empire that had first pursued the Haulia Tribe into Reisen Gorge.
• The Anime omits Hajime rescuing Par Haulia from monsters in the Sea of Trees.
• In the Light Novel, Hajime and the others are confronted by tigermen while traveling through the Sea of Trees. In the Anime, they are confronted by bearmen.
• The Anime omits Hajime and Yue's visit to the beastman nation Verbergen.
• In the Light Novel, the Sea of Trees is surrounded by glowing rocks known as Verdren Crystal that help people navigate their way through its fog. In the Anime, they are glowing flowers.
• The Anime omits Hajime and the Haulia Tribe being confronted by a group of bearmen after their ten days of training.
• In the Light Novel, the flashback of Shea and her mother is from a dream that Shea has while she is in Brooke Town. In the Anime, Shea recalls that memory before asking Hajime to join him on his journey.

Trivia

• Ulfric and Lua are later redrawn in Season Three.
