Apri Erobos (エイプリー・イロポス, Eipurī Iroposu?) was one of 12 Squad Captains of the Holy Church's Holy Templar Knights during the age of the Liberators.

Appearance[]

Apri was a young woman with long hair and glasses, and often had an emotionless expression.

Personality[]

Apri was absolutely devoted into serving the Holy Church and its god Ehit. She abided by its doctrine of human supremacy and saw all those that did not follow those ideals as heretics.

Chronology[]

Apri was among the Holy Church's Templar Knights that attacked the Melusine Pirates. She was also among those that fought Ned Peak, who was tasked with protecting the pirates' non-combatants. When Ned attempted to aid his comrade, he was intercepted by Apri, and then attacked him has his side with her longsword, which Ned tried to dodge, but she read his movements thanks to her special magic "Revelation" and changed the trajectory of her thrust, stabbing through his flank. Ned managed to trap her sword with his muscles, and swung his fist at her. However, Apri dodged his punch by determining its trajectory, while easily pulling her sword out of Ned’s body. Before he could correct his stance, she stabbed him from the other side. As Ned flinched from the pain, she thrusted her sword at his face. Ned swung his head to the side while simultaneously raising his leg for a kick, but she sidestepped his attack and angled her thrust downward to stab into his leg instead. She then stepped into his guard and readied the finishing blow. Before she could finish him off, Ned managed to scream loud enough that she reflexively covered her ears, and stopped her attack, as a result. As Apri was about to move in with her sword for the finishing strike, Ned was suddenly healed thanks to Meiru's magic that rested all of her injured comrades, much to her shock. Ned trapped Apri’s sword with his fists, then wrenched his arms to snap it in half. He then launched another kick at Apri, but she managed to avoid it by ducking under the blow, to which Ned then managed to regroup with Mania. Apri expressed her disgust at the comradery being displayed between a human and a demon, and she and Boutice Vaan resumed their battle with them.

In the end, the church's knights managed to overwhelm them pirate and were on the verge of wiping them out, but were stopped thanks to the timely intervention of the ani-church organization, the Liberators, led by Miledi Reisen. Apri, Baltos Goldy, Pell Allby, and many other knights were being engaged by Miledi's comrade Oscar Orcus, who was unleashing a barrage of magically enchanted daggers at them. Furthermore, Oscar was unleashing various magical attacks from his umbrella. As a result of the Liberators' intervention, Apri and the other knights were forced to make a temporary retreat after taking heavy casualties from them.

Apri engaged Oscar again when the church battled the pirates once more, during their attempts to conquer the floating island Andika. He unleashed a barrage of daggers at the knights, but Apri was able to dodge them by using her special magic to read through his moves. She managed to close in on Oscar, and she was about to swing her sword at him, but the sleeve of Oscar's coat moved on its own to block Apri's strike. Oscar then manipulated his glove, sending a net of metal wires at Apri. She dodged out of the way, but had ended up in the range of a lightning strike that Oscar shot out of his umbrella. However, the templar knights' commander Laus Barn managed to intercept the attack with his mace, and proceeded to engage Oscar with many other knights. Apri and the surviving knights were eventually forced to retreat after taking heavy causalities from the the pirates, the Liberators, and from the Divine Beast Leviathan that had been previously sealed below Andika.

Apri later took part in the church's war against the Haltina Republic by the Pale Forest. She was among the knights that fought against the Liberators' vice-commander Badd Virtus (who was aiding the republic of his own volition). She attempted to pierce his heart with her sword, but Badd managed to intercept it with his index finger. Though Apri was shocked, she immediately resumed her attack and drew a dagger that had been hidden in her surcoat and tried to stab Badd with it. A second later, her instincts told her to retreat and quickly leaped, to which she barely avoided an attack that Badd unleashed with his scythe Egxess. As Apri was struggling to regain her balance, Badd followed up with a roundhouse kick that hit her in the stomach, and sent her flying off. Before Badd could finish her off, however, he was stopped by Laus. When Badd's comrades eventually arrived to support the republic, the church was eventually defeated and forced to flee after a month-long battle.
