Alpha Pharmaceuticals (Alpha 製（せい）薬（やく）, Alpha Seiyaku^?), formerly known as Gamma Pharmaceuticals (Ｇａｍｍａ製（せい）薬（やく）, Gamma Seiyaku^?) is a drug manufacturing company based in Great Britain.

Its main office is a large high-rise complex that is 200 m tall and has 66 floors. It also owns a number of remote facilities for various activities.

History

The president of the company Kaysis Wentworks conspired to mass produce a deadly drug Berserk based on the work of Emily Grant and have everyone on Earth consume it by poisoning the world's water supply with it, while also planning to create a secondary drug that would temporarily suppress its symptoms. This would enable him to effectively become the ruler of the world, since everyone would need to keep on relying on his medicine to stay alive. His plans, however, were thwarted by Britain's National Security Agency and Kousuke Endou, and was arrested.

After the Berserk Incident, the company faced much public scrutiny, with many employees resigning, as a result. However the company was restructured through the joint efforts of Britain's National Security Agency and Hajime Nagumo (using the alias "Alfard Southcloud"), who became its majority shareholder. Furthermore, Emily was brought on as a researcher and managed to develop several drugs.
